Once a year, DCRCC trains and recruits volunteer Community Educators who provide facilitation to school and community based programming locally. Typically interviews are held in late spring, with initial 25 hour training requirement, specific to position and interest to follow in the summer. These dates can be requested by emailing dcrcc@dcrcc.org, as they are subject to change. No prior experience is necessary to apply.
Presentations are scheduled at night, during the day, and on weekends, and it is encouraged that applicants have flexible schedules. Internship credit is available for this yearlong position.
Educators are required to attend a monthly supervision for ongoing training and administration.
