4 Alumni Network (1)

The Alumni Network engages, empowers and equips the DC Rape Crisis Center’s alumni fellows, interns and volunteers to lead the global community in imagining a world without sexual violence and powering a culture of consent. The mission of the network is to leveraging the energy and expertise of members, and supporting former DCRCC fellows, interns and volunteers in remaining connected, and to grow individuals as civic leaders, for life.
Help us power the movement and join us today!

DCRCC boasts a strong civic legacy of passionate, committed, visionary hands and feet working diligently to live out the movement’s bold call to eliminate sexual violence. Since 1972, DCRCC has been making a significant contribution to the health, economic, social and cultural well-being of Washington, DC. This has been possible because of DCRCC’s strong civic legacy of committed leaders living out a compassionate response to survivors of sexual assault and building a consent culture.

Volunteers, interns and staff have advanced the mission of DCRCC for over 43 years, responding to the call for help by: working on the hotline, advocating for better policy, facilitating a support group, holding a survivor’s hand at the hospital, delivering a presentation to a group of children on body safety, stuffing envelopes or answering the phone.

If you’ve ever worked or volunteered at DCRCC, we’d love to connect with you.

DCRCC Annual Fund and Maverick Society
Alumni gifts allow DCRCC to provide the best services to survivors we support and create a better experience for current and future generations of interns, fellows and volunteers. The 1972 Society is a group of especially committed supporters who share a simple mission: to power a culture of consent and ensure that DCRCC will be around well into the future. DCRCC’s oldest giving society, the 1972 Society, welcomes young alumni for an annual gift of $250+ (alumni within 5 years of service) or $500 (alumni 6-9 years after service).
